Elaine and Marlon travelled all the way from Hong Kong to have a beautiful wedding at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St Petersburg. The ceremony was held out on the terrace with an amazing view of the pier behind. Right as the ceremony began, the roar of a small plane engine sounded over head, to mine and everyone else's surprise...it was a plane with a banner being strung behind stating "Marlon Loves Elaine". The plane circled the ceremony as Elaine and Marlon were married, how sweet!!! The reception was held at the Vinoy Sunset Ballroom, it was beautifully decorated with chinese lanterns and many other unique Asian elements and included a surprise Dragon Dance.
It was a great day with many great vendors including:
I had a blast photographing this beautiful couple at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando. It was a rainy and stormy Saturday morning, but the rain stopped and held out for the rooftop ceremony later that afternoon. The reception was inside in a beautiful ballroom and a fun swing band called Swing in Time played throughout the night. The couple ended the night with a wonderful swing dance.
We received noticed today that we will be published in the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of The Knot Weddings magazine! We are very excited because this is a national publication! This super cute detail picture will be featured with an article about ideas for name cards.
Meredith and Marek were married at the Davis Island Garden Club on a rainy Sunday afternoon! The clouds loomed and the rain poured, but Meredith and Marek were so happy to be getting married that the rain didn't matter at all! The smiles, love, emotions, and tears shared between this couple were so genuine that the rain couldn't stop their wedding from being amazing!
Due to the weather, the ceremony was forced indoors, but with the great uplighting of their reception room and candles brought in from outside it was beautiful! Meredith chose gorgeous shades of pink as the accent color, and I fell in love with all the flowers!
We fought the rain during formals, and then when it was time for the Bride and Groom session, it stopped and we were treated to some beautiful light and great clouds!
