Julie and Matt were married at the beautiful St. Pete Museum of Fine Arts. They shared a special First Look in a private outdoor garden. Next, they signed the Ketubah in the garden surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their ceremony was held indoors in a beautiful auditorium and their reception was a beautiful room with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of the water. They danced the traditional hora dance with all their guests and the crowd lifted Julie and Matt on to chairs high above everyone's heads. They party was lively thanks to Felix the DJ. Cheral Floral Studio provided the lush and fragrant florals.
The couple was married at the Don Cesar in a very beautiful vintage style beach wedding! Laura was absolutely stunning in her classic ivory toned slip gown and Doug was very stylish in his custom linen suit and flip flops!
The couple chose some very sophisticated details to accent their big day such as, antique coins for good luck, Tiffany blue bridesmaids dresses, a cigar roller, custom furniture and gorgeous pink and orange uplighting for their reception!
I had the wonderful experience of flying into Chicago for this engagement session. Sarah and Michael are such great hosts. They picked me up at the airport, had cold bottled water waiting for me in the car and treated me to lunch all before the session began! They drove us to the adorable downtown Arlington just outside Chicago for our session. Next we headed over to the Arlington Race Track to walk the grounds. Michael and I will be photographing their wedding here in October and it was so nice to get a feel for the layout ahead of time. Taking the time to get to know Sarah and Michael and their venue before the wedding will make everything so much more comfortable and intimate on their wedding. Congratulations Sarah and Michael and thank you for such a wonderful experience!
