Congratulations Geri X!

Geri X, local singer/songwriter well known throughout Tampa Bay hosted a CD Release show at the State Theater in St. Petersburg on Saturday January 17. This group is very special to me as the bass player, Greg Roteik is my brother and Geri is his girlfriend. Matt Bennett is the fabulous percussionist that completes their trio. Their music is absolutely amazing and they play frequent shows locally in and around Tampa Bay. Their melodic guitar harmonies and soothing voices are PERFECT for any wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and/or dinner. I speak from personal experience as the group played my own wedding last October.

(As you can tell I am a very proud of their accomplishments!)

I was asked by my brother to take some shots at the show, and I put together this photo slideshow for them. Included in the video are "Stubborn Man" and "Kiss on Both Eyelids," both from their new album, Anthems of a Mended Heart which is now available in stores, on their website and online with I-Tunes and Amazon.com.

Rebecca and Ryan

Rebecca and Ryan were married at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. The flowers were so fresh and fragrant and beautifully arranged by The Potting Shed.

I so much enjoyed working with Ryan and Rebecca. Rebecca's bubbly and sparkling personality made her so much fun to photograph. Their reception was honestly one of the best parties I have been to! The most fun was when the groom and groomsmen made a surprise entrance totally dressed as the Village People. I swear by the end every single guest was on the dance floor singing the YMCA!!!

Rebecca and Ryan are die-hard FSU fans and they had fun jumping on stage singing the Seminoles fighting song.

Congratulations Carleigh and Brendon!

Carleigh and Brendon were married on January 10th at A church in Venice and then had a beautiful reception at Marina Jack on the water in Sarasota. Carleigh was a stunning bride, not to mention a dream to work with. Carleigh and Brendon have this amazing chemistry, they were high school sweethearts!!

Congratulations Jennifer and Sean!

Jennifer and Sean are planning their May 24th, 2009 wedding at Avila in Tampa! I am looking forward to their wedding as Avila is a beautiful venue and Jennifer and Sean are a very loving and fun couple to work with! We had a great time at Honeymoon Island for their Engagement Session as I had them crawling through trees, playing volleyball, swinging and climbing on the rocks! They were up for anything and I can't wait for their wedding day!

Congratulations Diane and Jim!

Diane and Jim are getting married on February 21st at Honeymoon Island with a reception to follow at Bon Apetit in Dunedin. They chose Fort De Soto for their engagement session and we had a lot of fun! It's such a great place for portrait sessions as there are so many great back drops! There was a beautiful full moon that night and we caught it right at the end of our session!
