Featured on Style Unveiled with MMD Events - BHLDN Wedding - Tampa Weddings - Bouquet Dress Challenge

We were thrilled to work with MMD Events for this bouquet challenge for Style Unveiled. The challenge was to create a bouquet inspired by the BHLDN choice. Heather of Style Unveiled approached florists across the country with this challenge: Choose one of these 7 wedding dresses and design a bouquet for the bride who is wearing it. Each florist chose a professional wedding photographer in their area to snap a shot for their blog.

Here are a few words from Amanda of MMD Events about her bouquet:

I wanted to follow the form of the gown – gold on top and scalloped ivory tiers down below – so I had the handle mimic the skirt of the dress using antique scalloped ivory eyelet trim.

For the back ground of the shoot I wanted to do something eclectic (as a nod to Anthropologie) but still neutral. So we used one of our vintage church pews (a two seater little ivory number from our “I heart vintage” line) as the base, painted some vintage books ivory and then I had to add some whimsy with the little ivory deer – who doesn’t need a tiny deer!? The final touch was a little piece of gilded Manzanita to match the gold hair piece on the model. This bouquet includes: camel roses, chocolate mini cymbidium orchids, beige cymbidium orchids, and succulents that I gilded.
