Meaning of the New Limelight Logo

The two sets of L's reflecting each other represent the L’s in our name: Limelight. The mark somewhat resembles the shape of a cross, representing our Christian faith. The mark also looks like the inside of a lime if you cut one in half. We were inspired by Japanese chop marks because Michael’s mother grew up in Sasabo, Japan and the tradition in Japan is to identify your artwork with a special mark called a “chop mark.” We also wanted a timeless and elegant mark that accurately portrays the sophistication, class and style of our photography. That is basically the symbolic MEANING of the logo that we wanted to convey.
