The Children's home and NACE – the National Association of Catering
Executives, joined together to host the celebration of 120 years of serving
children and families in the Tampa Bay area and to honor Mr. Richard Gonzmart,
with the 2012 Helen Ayala Davis award, for his tireless efforts to improve the
lives of children and families in our community. Also recognized were some
iconic Tampa families, including the Lowry, Macfarlane, Conn, Davis and Lykes
families, who helped founded The Children’s Home.
