Limelight Photography: Erin and Brian Featured in the Limelight | The Ritz Carlton Members Beach Club

Erin and Brian were an amazing couple to work with! Along with their family and close friends they made the trip to Florida from Dallas, TX to get married on the sandy shores of Florida's gulf coast. The couple chose The Ritz Carlton Members Beach Club for their ceremony and reception. It was an amazing day for a wedding as we were blessed with clear skies and not a single drop of rain, which is definitely unusual for August! We were also treated with a beautiful sunset! I loved all the beach themed details from Erin's scalloped lace wedding gown to the shell and starfish accents.

I loved the story that Erin shared with me when I asked her how she and Brian met!

“Brian and I met through mutual friends. I like to call it the “Six Degrees of How We Met.” I have a childhood friend, Rema, who is friends with Petty from church, who worked for Melissa, who is married to Bob, who is friends with Brian. At a girls’ night out, I was complaining about the strange men that I seemed to keep meeting. Melissa was there and said that I should meet Brian. In fact, she texted him a picture of me on the spot and set up a little get-together that night at her house. Brian had been hanging out with Bob that day, so it worked out perfectly. I liked Brian right away! He poured wine through an aerator, which I still remember to this day as such a smooth move. The timing wasn’t right though, but Melissa didn’t give up. She invited me to a group outing on their boat a few months later. When she said Brian would be there, I said, “Yes!” This time, we really hit it off. I guess wearing a bikini didn’t hurt! We have been together for about three years. Our personalities are perfectly suited to each other. We are laid-back, silly, friendly, and family-oriented. We love to try new wines, travel, spend time with our friends and family, and stay active through running. We look forward to spending our lives together.”
