Tampa Bay Technology Forum Industry Achievement Awards Featured in the Limelight | The Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront | St. Petersburg, FL Event Photography

The Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF), Florida’s largest and most influential technology association, announced the winners of its 9th Annual Industry Achievement Awards at a black-tie awards gala on November 16, 2012.  The awards honor the individuals and organizations leading the way in the technology community. Winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges and were honored in front of more than 400 industry professionals and decision-makers.  

The 2012 Industry Achievement Award winners are: 

CIO of the Year: Stuart Kime, myMatrixx 
 Collaboration Award: Tampa Bay Partnership – Front Row Tampa Bay 
 Emerging Technology Company of the Year: MedHok Healthcare Solutions 
 Excellence in Service: Tampa Bay Innovation Center 
 Technology Company of the Year: Agile Thought 
 Technology Leader of the Year: Jason Caras, IT Authorities 

The evening celebrated the local technology industry with a hint of artistry as gala attendees were entertained by a mesmerizing act of acrobatics at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront.  Anne Immanuel, web anchor at Bay News 9, served as the master of ceremonies for an evening that included a cocktail reception, dinner and awards presentation and an after party featuring live music and playful entertainment. Winners received unique trophies created by local artist Dee Hood that were made from used technology equipment donated by Vology.  Gala sponsors included Brightline and Ciber as platinum sponsors, along with AVISPL, Bright House Networks Business Solutions, Forsythe, Genesis Direct, MBA Program at University of South Florida St. Petersburg, Veredus, Insight, Verizon and Bay Area Business Magazine.
