Rachel and Andrew Featured in the Limelight | The Westshore Grand | Tampa, FL Wedding Photography

Rachel and Andrew met while attending Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. Rachel introduced herself and then Andrew introduced himself with his last name - and what are the chances it turns out they share the same last name! Andrew found out she had a boyfriend so he left her alone. Andrew spotted Rachel at a student center but she had chocolate in her teeth so she thought that was the end of it - but it turned out he didn’t even notice. Rachel tried to avoid him because she was embarrassed, but they ran into each other at a party.

Rachel describes Andrew this way, "Andrew is extremely caring and kind. He is a hard working person but is also fun loving. I love how he loves to be social and is so passionate everything he puts his mind to.” Andrew works in luxury real estate advertising and Rachel is a news producer. They enjoy going to the beach, working out, being together on the weekends in general since they don't get to see each other during the week due to our busy work schedules. Andrew proposed under the Brooklyn Bridge - so romantic!

They enjoy doing a variety of things together. Their terrible professional schedule prevents many activities, but they do love taking tropical beach vacations together! They love to travel. They are headed to Montego Bay, Jamaica for their honeymoon.

The wedding ceremony under the chuppah combined Jewish modern reform and  traditional orthodox traditions. The bedecking (cocktail hour tradition) and the actual ceremony where the bride walks around the groom 7 times was a highlight that all the guests enjoyed! Andrew’s Uncle David performed the ceremony.

Their party was elegant and natural, accented with merlot and burgundy colors. The beautiful flowers and the live music really set a festive, fun and exciting tone for the celebration! The big band and all of the dancing, the bride and groom's first dance and dancing with friends and family - were highlights of the reception.

Rachel’s dress was covered but sexy; classic and timeless but also very unique!
