Recording artist Josh Walther commissioned me to create a portrait for his new album Fall So Deep. Fall So Deep can now be downloaded at most major retail sites including NAPSTER, Rhapsody, Emusic, iTunes, Bestbuy.com, and Walmart.com.
When Josh Walther graduated from high school he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in the music business. Success seemed to come quick. He landed in a Band called McAlyster and within a year they were signed to MCA Records, home to artists such as Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, George Strait, and Trisha Yearwood. They recorded an album and released the single "I Know How The River Feels." They shot a video for the song that appeared on CMT, The Disney Channel, VH1, GAC and many other networks. The single reached #1 on Billboard Magazine's Single Sales Chart. The group disbanded in 2002.
Josh is currently in the studio finishing up his first studio album in eight years. The record is being produced by the legendary Brad Davis (Billy Bob Thornton, Marty Stuart, The Boxmasters) and Scott Mitchell. Josh has said that the new project features an acoustic pop sound with a bit of a Memphis edge. The album is being recorded between San Antonio, Dallas, and Nashville. The record is scheduled to be released this fall.
