Congratulations! Lindsay and Jordan are Engaged!

"We could not be happier for this special time in our life. We have been together for six years, and have grown so much as a couple. Love is a wonderful thing and when you find the one person you are meant to be with it is the best feeling in the world. We are very excited about our big day." ~ Lindsay and Jordan

The Amazing Proposal

So every year Jordan and I exchange presents on Christmas day. This year Jordan decided that we would still exchange on Christmas day, but we would be at my Aunt Linda's instead of mine or his house. I was arguing with him about doing this because I felt it was rude to do it in front of everyone. I told him it would be better if we just did it alone. I gave into him and just went with the flow. He said baby I want to exchange there its no big deal, and I want everyone to see the gifts I got you. I had asked him for a canon camera for Christmas that was discontinued, and no longer available anywhere on the web. So I thought that was the surprise he had for me. The whole way to spring hill I was irritated that I had to lug all of these gifts to my aunts house when we could have just done it alone later on that night. When he arrived I gave him a kiss and asked when he wanted to exchange gifts. We then sat down and began exchanging immediately. My mom and my aunt CC said Oh how cute let us take pictures of you guys opening gifts. Everyone knows a picture freak like me wouldn't resist that offer. So I agreed and they began snapping shots. I was really excited because for the first time in 6 years Jordan had no idea what I got him for Christmas. We started opening one by one and I was just so excited to see his face when he saw the gifts I got him. I got down to my last gift and it was my camera! I was ecstatic! I couldn't believe he got it for me. I opened the box and Jordan said baby turn it on see how it works. As I turned it on the first thing that came up was a picture of a rose with Lindsay will you marry me on it. I was in total shock, I could not believe this was happening. I then turned to him and there he was on his knee with a ring in his hand. He said baby will you marry me. I immediately started balling my eyes out. I couldn't believe this moment. I was so incredibly happy I was in tears... I couldn't believe my dream came true.. I was going to be Mrs. Goldberg and marry my soul mate. I could not hold back the tears.. they were pouring out like Niagra Falls..This was the best Day of my life and the best surprise I've ever had..So then he turned and looked at me as the tears rolled down my face and the rest the people in the room looked like water works as well.. he said so is that a yes? and I said Abso-F*in_lutely. It was a Christmas like no other.. and the best surprise of my life! I can't wait to marry my lover and best friend.

The Engagement Session

I met Lindsay and Jordan at Riverhills Park in Temple Terrace and immediately clicked with this amazing, fun-loving couple. I think Lindsay loves photographs as much as me! They brought all sorts of hand-made art pieces with clever quotes, sayings and their name and wedding date to use in the photographs. We were bummed when we arrived to find out there was a HUGE unexpected festival in the park with dozens of white tents all throughout the park. We laughed at our misfortune and Lindsay and Jordan were really great sports about it. We worked around the kink and found beautiful spaces and still created AWESOME portraits:) We are going to do another engagement session on Rainbow River and I cannot wait for their wedding at the Don Cesar next fall. Congratulations Lindsay and Jordan!
