Carly and Michael were married in a beautiful and elegant ceremony and reception at the Avila Golf and Country Club in Tampa, FL!   Surrounded by their family and friends the couple exchanged vows and celebrated in the gorgeous club house!  A winter cold front made it's way through the state the day before but the warmth that poured from this couple and wedding day overcame the weather!  Carly and her mother created all the beautiful floral arrangements and design in tones of plum, lilac and gray and no detail was over looked!  One of my favorite details was a board of keys that served as the escort card table and each key had the name of guest hanging from it.  Each key said HEART and it was the perfect prop for a beautiful picture of the couple's wedding bands.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Megan and Chris Step Into the Limelight | Downtown St. Petersburg | St. Petersburg, FL Engagement Photography

Despite a distance of 500 miles between Alabama and Florida, Megan and Chris are making this work! The two met during Megan's first year of residency while in Alabama, and instantly she and Chris knew they were right for each other. This absolutely adorable, fun, and light-hearted couple were so joyous to be together during Gasparilla weekend for their engagement shoot. We were able to witness a proposal just before we began, and it set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. Megan knew she wanted photographs with the waterfall - a feature of a local condominium building downtown - and while it had been turned off while they were scouting, it was luckily on when we got there! What a fortuitous night to bring good luck to them as they work to finalize their August wedding plans as well as a new home here in sunny Florida! Congratulations to you both - it was such a blessing to spend this time with you, and I am SO very much looking forward to being with you on your wedding day!

Cherlin and Bill Featured in the Limelight | Private Residence | Tampa, FL Wedding Photography

Cherlin and Bill's Proposal is one of a kind... when asked how he proposed Cherlin told me he sang four songs to her, the last one being "Delia" by Johnny Cash in which he changed the words to propose to her.  How sweet is this?  You  can really see the love and adoration when these two look into each others eyes.  

 They met in 2012 and started off 2014 with a beautiful wedding in a candlelit backyard garden while the sun was setting all around them....the ambiance was comfortable and romantic with lanterns hanging in the trees and the cake and tables set up around a beautiful pool.  The groom's parents were kind enough to open up their home to have the guests come and witness and celebrate this beautiful union.
