Some people just get lucky in love, and Megan and Christopher are some of those people. It was love at first sight for them when they met in Huntsville, Alabama while she completed her first year residency and he was working. They made their long distance relationship work while he continued to work in Huntsville, and Megan did a second year residency in St. Pete. Chris proposed on Megan's birthday weekend. He surprised her with appetizers and wine on the beach to celebrate her birthday. As Megan was looking at the beautiful sunset, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend to rest of her life with him. Now, there's just something about the relationship between a Southern belle and her daddy that can't be found anywhere else. And because of that special bond, Megan chose to do a first look with her daddy to have a few special moments with him. And after that, she and Christopher chose to have their first look. During the ceremony, Megan's ring bearer carried the Bible down the aisle that belonged to her grandfather - who had married her parents. During the traditional church exit, they planned to have their guests wave ribbon wands with bells on them, which was a very cool alternative to other send-off activities, but also is an Irish tradition for good luck! It was an absolutely beautiful day, and we wish you all the luck and love in the world. Congratulations, Megan and Christopher!
