The week before February 28th the forecast called for only a 20% chance of rain. I trusted that (although I am now reminded how unpredictable FL weather is) going into the week excited for Jennifer and Travis to whom I had a previous engagement session with and just loved this sweet couple from the start. The rain started at 2:00 am and really never let up until the very end of the evening that Saturday. Didn't it ruin their day? Nope. Had they planned to be outside at some point? Yep. Were they disappointed? Possibly, but you would never know it. I tell ya, the laughter, love and light heartedness that filled the day made this day a bright one. Who needs sun when you have a fun group of people gathering around to celebrate a great love between two genuinely amazing folks?! I think the night ended on an even better note (icing on the cake) with a great meal, amazing cake and an excellent and talented band. I hope they got to really take in their day and how awesome it was even with all it's puddles and gray clouds! Congrats to this wonderful couple, may God continue to bless you through rain and sunshine :)
