Morgan and Anthony met in High School (2006) These two high school sweethearts truly are so SWEET! Toward each other and everyone they encounter. Morgan shares their love story: “We met when I (Morgan) was 14 and Anthony was 15. We were both on the marching band drumline at Largo High School. Anthony asked me to be his date to the first homecoming dance and began dating in November 2006. We immediately fell for each other's sense of humor. We are always laughing and enjoying life. We have the same views and positive outlook on life. After so many years of dating there is still never a "dull moment". We love going to sports games (UF gator games, Tampa Bay Lighning, Tampa Bay Bucs, and Rays games). We love living so close to the beach and spending as much free time as possible by the water. We also enjoy doing anything with friends and family! Family time is a huge part of our lives together.
Anthony had saved up for a year to buy our first home, after he graduated college. After I graduated college, the following year, we found a house and did some renovations before finally moving in. Anthony took me out for a nice dinner to celebrate the first night in our first house/ first time living together. and proposed!
The overall story of our wedding is the two of us finally coming together in marriage. After being together for nearly 10 years, and being so young when we first met, we have been through so much. We've grown up together and have been through so many changes (high school, college and moving away/being long-distance).
We loved The Birchwood because it can be outdoorsy (by the water/ Vinoy park across the street), and is also a perfect area for fun with family and friends. We love this area and it fit us perfectly. The bridal party colors were navy and grey (evening/ classy colors). I wore a princess-style A-line dress. We went with many different "themes". We brought together whimsical and rustic for the ceremony and reception. We have more natural tones/ colors and use succulents as well as assorted flowers/ vine-like-decor. We also played off 'The Birchwood' by adding touches of it throughout the night - birchwood. Our favorite thing about the day is just bringing together all of our favorite people from all over (family and friends) to one location. We'll all be together, for once in our lives, to celebrate one of the happiest events the two of us will ever experience.
All the flowers/ decorations were essentially be "DIY" by Anthony's aunt Tracy. She has been planning and creating decorations for the past year for our wedding (all the way from New Jersey). She also created our unique "archway" for the ceremony made out of Birchwood logs. The highlight of the wedding was spending special moments with family and friends. The overwhelming happiness and emotion we felt (especially at ceremony) was a huge highlight and something we will never forget feeling. Seeing the happy faces of our parents and grandparents was extremely special to see.The most memorable moment was the walk down the aisle- when we first saw each other before the big moment! We are filled with extreme joy and happiness.”
Congratulations to this adorable couple!
