conceptBAIT/Event Solutions Holiday Shoot!

HOLIDAYS 2011

The Holidays are a time for Family & friends to gather and share memories of bright smiles, wonderment and all the sights, sounds and tastes of the Season. As children, most memories are of the celebrations that took place not so much around a tree or while lighting the Menorah, but of the many trips around the grocery store or farmer’s market with loved ones while we gathered items off a list put together by Mom or Dad. The fonder memories are of a Family creating the many flavors that would define our traditions of future Holidays to come.

While searching for a theme to define our Holiday look for this piece, the many culinary creations that came out of our Family’s kitchen during this time of year, and in most cases only at this time, came flooding in. This is our tribute to Mom’s “Boysenberry Cream” which we couldn’t and can’t get enough of.

The draping is made of silky white chiffon and it was the basis for our background. The table covering is a rich iridescent crinkled organza appropriately called “boysenberry. It cascaded off the sides and puddled on the floor with elegant intensity. Nestled around the royal richness of the table are the iconic Louis Ghost Chair. Each holding an opulent Down stuffed pillow with a covering made of dozens of ribbons of taffeta in a deep berry hue.

The details are the finishing touch which always seem to hold on to our imagination and play off the theme so closely. Here we see each place setting in clear glass which like the Festival of Lights, captures the spirit to reflect the sparkle of the Season. The florals include tight groupings of hydrangea, dendrobium and cymbidium orchids, dahlias, as well as the more traditional carnations, mums and lilies. Together adding a creamy rich tone on tone to create a textured “fluff” atop the milky white glass vessel below. In order to break up the delicateness above we bring in the punch of uniqueness that will define all the elements as one... “Kugels” as they are known in Central Europe are suspended by cut Swarovski crystals and adding to the holiday appeal. And for added “bling” we further added antiqued mercury glass ornaments.

The Holidays wouldn’t be complete without your own memories, traditions or Family so with all this said, from our Families to yours, may all your Holiday dreams come true vividly and may the sights, sounds and flavors of the Season be the ones you pass on from generation to generation as you celebrate life's most cherished events!

Sincerely yours,

Frank Clemente

Caroline and Ryan were a pleasure to work with on their beautiful wedding day! The scene was set at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg for a sun lit ceremony under the famous banyan trees and the couple was so happy to say I do! Caroline arrived by horse and carriage and it made for an amazing bridal entrance! The couple danced the night away and DJ Cory Barron of Grant Hemond kept the dance floor packed! The amazing uplighting provided by Encore Lighting was spectacular and delivered a beautiful ambiance to the couple's reception! Congratulations to the newlyweds! =)

Michelle and Peter were a joy to work with and I love the story of how they met,

Michelle says... We met on a blind date at Pete's favorite bar downtown in SOHO- Spring Lounge. He calls it "Sharky's." I remember walking in, seeing him for the first time and thinking "Wow this guy is actually really cute and TALL." I was pleasantly surprised. We had so much in common.

We spent about 6 hours together and bounced from place to place all night in NYC. I even met some of his friends. I remember not wanting it to end.

Our first real dinner date was at Hudson Cafeteria where we both ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese. My order had about 10 pieces of Huge lobster. His had only 2! I liked him so much I split mine with him. To this day he still eats ALL my leftovers :))

Peter says... I met Michelle on a blind date. I was thoroughly impressed when a 5 foot 9 knockout walked through the door. Michelle and I hit it off from the start sharing very similar interests. She seemed very laid back and unpretentious which can be a rare commodity in NYC. I remember being relieved that she did not mind the bar because Sharky’s is a bit of a dive. I was so nervous the whole time because I had brought this beautiful girl to such a seedy place.

We hung out for most of the night talking and sharing drinks without missing a beat. She made a really great first impression; it was almost like we had been friends for years.

At the end of the night we met up with a few of my friends and I remember telling one of my buddies, “I really like this girl I could see myself spending the rest of my life with her”.

Our first real date was at the Hudson Cafeteria on 58th street. The dinner went off without a hitch. We continued the night with a few after dinner drinks . We spent the next few hours sitting by the bar making fun of some nutcase in shiny silver pants who was bothering other couples on the dance floor. I loved her sense of humor and she was a lot of fun to be around. From that night on we were almost inseparable and a year and a half later I asked her to be my wife.
