When I met Amy and Michael and their kids for their family engagement session last year in November, I fell absolutely in love with them. The story of an old love renewed has such a hopeful and uplifting appeal - to know that true love truly never dies. And for Amy and Michael, it didn't. Through the last year, together they experienced so much more: laughter, travels, and making more memories. And on their wedding day it culminated with some of their most close family and friends - even the minister marrying them was a very close and long-time friend from high school! Amy and Michael selected tones of turquoise and coral to reflect the beachy theme, and starfish and seashells could be found throughout the decor. They even found a steel drum player to provide music during the cocktail hour! And oh, what a sunset they had! It was absolutely gorgeous. The reception was nothing but laughter and dancing, as everyone reveled in celebrating their love, and it was a dash for the bouquet and garter at the promise of new love. I loved how sweet they were during the whole day. Michael started the day by showering Amy with bracelet charms - hinting at the location of their honeymoon. Amy had a surprise specialized cake for Michael at the reception: a 1970 Hemi Baracuda! Congratulations Amy and Michael - may you both enjoy every day together now and for the rest of your lives as you did as teenagers!
